As the CTO of InQuest, Pedram came to us following his directorship at Avast, subsequent to the acquisition of his groundbreaking startup, Jumpshot, a solution known for its revolutionary approach to identifying and eliminating deeply entrenched malware. Pedram’s previous accomplishments include the founding of TippingPoint’s renowned Zero Day Initiative, where the Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) originated. Notably, he established and oversaw the world’s largest collective of independent researchers, responsible for numerous discoveries of Microsoft vulnerabilities. With a strong background in reverse engineering, Pedram has delivered presentations and conducted training courses at various conferences, including Blackhat. Holding a CS degree from Tulane University, he is also the author of the influential book “Fuzzing: Brute Force Vulnerability Discovery.”
